I2U2 (US-Israel-UAE-India Quad)

I2U2 is the four-country economic and technology forum formally launched in July 2022 among India, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. The grouping focuses on joint investment in food security, clean energy, transportation infrastructure, space, healthcare, and emerging technologies. The first I2U2 summit announced $2 billion in UAE-financed food parks in India and a hybrid renewable energy project in Gujarat with Israeli technical involvement.

I2U2 operates as a strategic forum running parallel to and reinforcing the IMEC corridor framework. Both build on the 2020 Abraham Accords and the 2022 Israel-UAE CEPA. I2U2 was the original architecture for the US-aligned commercial bloc spanning India, the Middle East, and Israel — IMEC operationalizes the physical infrastructure that links them.
