Can You Use Wix, monday.com or Similarweb in Hebrew or Arabic?

Olam checked official help pages: Wix, monday.com and Similarweb list no Hebrew or Arabic software interface, though Wix supports both for sites users build.

Wix, monday.com and Similarweb, three software companies founded in Israel, do not list Hebrew or Arabic among the interface languages in their official help pages, reviewed by Olam on October 30, 2026. Wix lists 21 languages, monday.com 15 and Similarweb four. Wix separately supports both Hebrew and Arabic for the websites its customers build.

Original Olam research. Last updated November 3, 2026.

What did Olam find in the three language lists?

Olam found that none of the three official interface-language lists names Hebrew or Arabic, with counts of 21 for Wix, 15 for monday.com and four for Similarweb.

Each count comes from a help page the company publishes. Wix's language availability page lists 21 languages for its account and editor, covering Wix and Wix Studio. monday.com's available languages page lists 15 for its account. Similarweb's language help page names four: English, Chinese, French and Japanese.

CompanyInterface languages listedHebrew or Arabic listed?Other Hebrew or Arabic support in official sources
Wix21 (account and editor)NoHelp Center available in Hebrew. Wix Multilingual supports 180+ languages, including Hebrew and Arabic.
monday.com15 (14 by language name)NoProduct update says the WorkForms feature supports right-to-left text, including Arabic and Hebrew.
Similarweb4NoNone found on the page reviewed. Website, support and data coverage not examined.

The lists overlap heavily. English, Chinese, French and Japanese appear on all three. Every language on monday.com's list, counted by name, also appears on Wix's, and Wix adds seven that monday.com does not list: Thai, Norwegian, Danish, Czech, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Ukrainian.

No right-to-left language appears on any of the three lists. Hebrew and Arabic are both widely used in Israel and both are written right to left.

One counting note applies. monday.com lists Traditional and Simplified Chinese separately, so its 15 entries cover 14 languages by name. Wix and Similarweb list Chinese once, without naming a script.

How do interface, website, support and product languages differ?

A software interface language is the language of a product's menus, buttons and messages, and it is separate from the language of a company's website, its customer support or what users can create with the product.

Wix shows why the distinction matters. Reading only its interface list would suggest no Hebrew or Arabic offering. Reading only its Multilingual list would suggest full support. Both pages come from Wix, and each is accurate for what it describes.

Where do Hebrew and Arabic appear outside the interface lists?

Hebrew or Arabic appears in other official materials Olam reviewed at Wix and monday.com, and each case is a different kind of support.

Wix has the most. Its language page lists Hebrew among the languages of the Help Center, so a user can read Wix support articles in Hebrew while working in an interface that is not offered in Hebrew. The Wix Multilingual language list includes both Hebrew and Arabic, and Wix says the tool supports over 180 languages for the sites built on it. The same language page says Wix's editors accept Hebrew and Arabic characters.

Wix also documents the limits. Its right-to-left site guidance says Wix Multilingual does not offer automatic mirroring of left-to-right content for languages such as Arabic or Hebrew.

monday.com's evidence is narrower. A WorkForms update on its blog says the form builder supports right-to-left text, including Arabic and Hebrew. That describes typing in one feature, not translating the platform's menus.

Customers have asked for more. A user of the monday.com community forum posted in August 2021 asking for Hebrew support in the mobile app. User posts are not company statements, and one post does not measure demand.

Similarweb's page names no Hebrew or Arabic option and says nothing further on the subject. Olam did not review Similarweb's website, its support channels or its data coverage for those languages.

Why does interface language matter commercially?

Interface language matters commercially because it sets what a customer reads while using the software, and each added language means translating and testing every menu, message and screen.

Right-to-left languages add a second task. Wix's help pages treat right-to-left as separate work, with guides for text direction, images and videos, and a right-to-left menu guide. Where a product supports right-to-left text, a Hebrew or Arabic speaker can write content in their own language even if the menus stay in another.

The cost of that work was raised in an earlier period of Israeli software. In a Globes report from July 2013, Yaron Kaufman, vice president of marketing at translation firm One Hour Translation, said many app developers skip Hebrew and Arabic-speaking markets because adjusting interfaces for right-to-left text takes effort they judge not worthwhile. The report rested on his company's survey of sampled apps, which found 95 percent of apps developed in Israel were written in English.

That survey sampled business apps, games and gambling apps. It did not cover these three companies, and it is thirteen years old.

Olam found no statement from Wix, monday.com or Similarweb explaining why their lists look as they do, and this article assigns no reason. Olam does not claim that layout work explains the lists. The lists show what is named, and what is named does not include a right-to-left language at any of the three.

Olam's coverage of the sector tracks funding, deals and spending rather than product languages. See its Israeli startup funding report, its Israeli startup exits analysis, Rocket Software's Geniez AI purchase and the Israeli tech R&D spending ranking, which covers Wix and monday.com.

What does a three-company check not show?

A three-company check cannot show how Israeli technology companies as a group handle Hebrew and Arabic.

The three companies are not a random or ranked sample. Other Israeli software companies may list Hebrew or Arabic, and Olam did not check them. Help pages can also lag the product, so a language missing from a page may exist in a mobile app, a beta feature or an enterprise setting that the page does not describe. Olam did not log in to any of the three products.

How did Olam run this check?

Olam counted the languages each company names on an official help page for switching the software interface language, then compared the lists by language name on October 30, 2026.

The method followed these rules:

  • Each entry named on the page counted once, as published.
  • Lists were compared by language name, not by dialect or script.
  • "Interface" meant the languages a page says a user can switch the account, editor or platform into.
  • Hebrew or Arabic mentions elsewhere were recorded only where an official Wix or monday.com page stated them.

Not measured: corporate website languages, customer support in practice, mobile app languages, partial translations, and behavior inside the products. The pages reviewed are undated in the versions Olam retrieved, and companies can change them at any time.

Has this comparison been published before?

Olam found no earlier published comparison of these three companies' interface languages, and does not claim this is the first study of its kind.

Searches in October 2026 for research on Hebrew and Arabic support in Israeli software returned user forum requests and the 2013 Globes survey of app translations, which has a different scope.

The three pages are public, so anyone can recheck them. Wix's page already records one change: it notes that Hindi stopped being supported from January 2024.
