Israel's only Red Sea port. Small in volume but strategically essential for any Indian Ocean / Gulf trade corridor.

Why it matters\n\nEilat is the eastern terminus of any IMEC-style land bridge. Post-October 7 the port's throughput collapsed under Houthi pressure. Its recovery (or lack of it) is the leading indicator for Red Sea normalization.
