Yanai's appointment: Government Decision 3631

Sa'ar submitted Yanai's candidacy in October 2025 to Prof. Daniel Hershkowitz, then acting Civil Service Commissioner, with a request to convene the senior appointments committee. Yanai's legal career

Yanai was born in Yavne, the oldest daughter of Moti and Toni Yanai, in a family of eight children. Both parents were long-serving figures in the Yavne education system. She lives in Tel Aviv.

Her legal training runs Bar-Ilan University for her law degree, followed by a master's in international and public law through the joint program between Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University in Chicago. She apprenticed at the firm of Liblich-Moser and, in a separate placement, with the head of the serious-crimes panel at the Tel Aviv District Court.
