Israel Mobile Summit Returns to Tel Aviv on October 29

The Israel Mobile Summit runs October 29 at Expo Tel Aviv. See ticket prices, the 2026 sponsor list, who spoke in 2025 and how to reach the venue by train.

The Israel Mobile Summit takes place on October 29, 2026, at Expo Tel Aviv, Pavilion 10. The one-day conference covers mobile apps, games and adtech, and the organizer, Mobile Summits (LeitnerCorp Ltd.), has run it since 2011. Early bird tickets cost 790 ILS (230 euros) through October 8, and every ticket includes talks, the expo, matchmaking and an October 28 evening networking event.

What is the Israel Mobile Summit?

The Israel Mobile Summit is an annual conference where Israeli and international mobile app, game and advertising technology companies meet in Tel Aviv. The organizer's website describes it as a catch-all event attended by dozens of delegates from each major Israeli game publisher, plus international publishers.

PocketGamer.biz's event listing says organizers expect 1,200 to 1,500 attendees from more than 30 countries. The program covers growing apps and games, monetizing them through advertising and in-app purchases, and acquiring and retaining users. Pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings and an expo zone run alongside the talks.

The organizer points readers to archives of earlier editions dating back to 2011, plus photos and talk videos from past years. That history matters for buyers and sellers because the same publishers and vendors tend to return, so the 2025 roster is a reasonable preview of the 2026 crowd.

Who sponsors and speaks at the summit?

The 2026 sponsor list on the organizer's site includes Playtika, Persona.ly, AppsFlyer, Snap, PayPal, Oracle Cloud, Tebex, Appcharge, Xsolla, Z2A Digital, INCRMNTAL and Huuuge Games, with Digital Turbine as a media partner. Olam covers Playtika's Nasdaq gaming position, and the company is Israel's largest publicly traded gaming company.

The organizer had not published 2026 speaker names in readable text at the time of writing, so the 2025 roster is the best guide to who attends. The 2025 recap page lists speakers from the companies below.

Which executives spoke at the 2025 summit?

The 2025 speaker list mixed chief executives, product leaders and growth heads from publishers, app makers and vendors. The organizer's 2025 recap names each speaker with a title, and the table shows a sample that covers each segment.

Two details stand out. Supercell sent the general managers of two of its games, so attendees heard from the people who run those titles and not only from sales staff. The list also included an angel investor and a product consultant, so founders raising money or hiring advisers had a reason to attend beyond meeting buyers.

Founders of two vendors on the 2026 sponsor list, Persona.ly and INCRMNTAL, spoke in 2025 and returned as sponsors. That pattern suggests the summit works as a repeat channel for vendors, and sellers should expect to meet the same competitors again this year.

How big is the Israeli mobile games industry?

A 2026 GamesBeat report sponsored by Xsolla counts more than 140 Israeli companies in gaming or game-related technology, employing about 15,000 people, according to The Jerusalem Post's October 5, 2026 coverage. The same coverage says the sector could generate about $10 billion a year, with games, mobile entertainment, adtech and monetization infrastructure as the main segments.

Tel Aviv remains the main hub, while companies are opening offices in Herzliya, Haifa and Jerusalem. The report credits Israeli companies with long experience in user acquisition and monetization, and it says Israeli studios build mobile-first games for foreign audiences instead of the small home market.

Exits show how much value the sector has produced. The report cites $3.65 billion in exits drawn from public disclosures, and it uses SuperPlay as its example: Playtika bought the Tel Aviv studio for $700 million, and earnouts could lift the price to $1.95 billion.

Older estimates run lower. A 2022 SocialPeta and Gameis study put Israeli mobile gaming at $9 billion in annual revenue across 200 companies and 14,000 employees, and it named Playtika, Plarium and Moon Active as anchors. The two studies use different methods, so read both as estimates and not as one continuous series.

Why do payments companies fill the sponsor list?

Payments and web-store vendors sponsor the summit because publishers are moving more revenue to direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales. DTC revenue is money a publisher collects through its own web store or payment page instead of through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Playtika's investor relations page shows the scale. Its second quarter 2026 results, released August 6, 2026, report $731.1 million in revenue, of which $286.9 million was DTC revenue, about 39 percent. DTC platform revenue rose 63.1 percent from a year earlier.

The first quarter followed the same pattern: $744.7 million in revenue and $291.8 million in DTC revenue, again about 39 percent, with DTC platform revenue up 62.8 percent year over year. The fourth quarter of 2025 put DTC at $250.1 million of $678.8 million, about 37 percent.

Olam's reading is that a publisher moving that much revenue to its own checkout needs payment, tax and refund tools, and the vendors that sell them want to meet the publishers in one room. The organizer does not state why any sponsor signed on, so treat this as analysis. The Jerusalem Post describes Xsolla as an American commerce firm that funds, distributes and monetizes games, and Xsolla sponsored the GamesBeat report that sized the Israeli industry.

What pressure is the industry under in 2026?

Israel's two largest game companies both made structural changes in 2026. Globes reported on January 27, 2026 that Moon Active was laying off 110 employees worldwide, 30 of them in Israel, in its second round in about a year. The cut equals about 5 percent of a workforce of 2,200.

Globes also cited PitchBook for $2 billion in annual revenue at Moon Active in each of 2024 and 2025, and it noted that LinkedIn profiles showed headcount shrinking 13 percent before the new round. Those headcount figures come from employee reports and are not company numbers. Olam covers the company in Moon Active and Coin Master.

Playtika announced a review of strategic alternatives on April 6, 2026, run by a special committee of its board. The company's own release says the review is meant to enhance shareholder value, and it has not named an outcome in the releases listed on its investor page.

These moves explain why the summit's content leans toward efficiency. The GamesBeat report says AI will improve user acquisition targeting, creative testing and real-time monetization tuning, and Xsolla's Nikita Sherman said Israel must expand beyond its traditional strengths. The 2025 roster already pointed that way, with CrazyLabs sending a Generative AI Specialist and a Head of Innovation and AI.

How much do Israel Mobile Summit tickets cost?

The organizer listed the early bird price at 790 ILS or 230 euros, including VAT, and extended it to October 8, 2026. The next tier is 990 ILS, so check the registration page for the current price.

Israeli companies register in shekels and non-Israeli companies register in euros. Tickets can be refunded in full if the buyer asks in writing within 14 days of purchase and at least 14 days before the event. After that, tickets are not refundable but can be transferred to another person through the event date.

How do you get to Expo Tel Aviv?

The Tel Aviv University train station sits a 3-minute walk from the venue, and a direct train line runs from the airport. Drivers can park at the venue for 49 ILS for the whole day at the conference rate.

How should you use a one-day summit?

The organizer lists four formats: talks and panels, pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings through a matchmaking system, an expo zone and an evening networking event on October 28. Each one suits a different goal, and the table below is Olam's suggestion for matching them.

GoalFormat to usePreparation

Buyers should bring three measurable questions for every payments or web-store vendor: what share of a publisher's revenue moved to its own store, how many weeks integration took, and how refunds and sales tax are handled. Sellers should bring a single case with a named customer and a number, because the 2025 speaker list shows an audience of senior marketing, product and monetization leaders.

The Takeaway

Attend if you sell user acquisition, measurement, payments or monetization tools to Israeli game publishers, because the sponsor and speaker lists put those buyers and vendors in one hall. Go with sharper questions than in past years: publishers are moving revenue to their own stores, Israel's two biggest game companies are restructuring, and AI is changing how user acquisition is bought. Confirm the current ticket tier on the Israel Mobile Summit website before booking, since the early bird window has closed.
