Israel's digital health sector rests on an unusual foundation. Almost every resident belongs to one of four health funds, and those funds have kept electronic medical records for decades. That pool of longitudinal clinical data, combined with the country's software and AI talent, has made Israel a test bed for remote care, triage tools, clinical decision support and medical imaging analysis.
