The company built Facetune, Photoleap, and Videoleap — among the highest-grossing photo and video editing apps on iOS and Android.
Lightricks pivoted aggressively into generative AI through its LTX Studio platform, which combines a proprietary open-weights video model (LTX-Video) with a storyboard-to-video creative workspace. The LTX-Video family of open-weights video models is among the most-downloaded open video models on Hugging Face.
The company reached unicorn status in 2021 at a reported $1.8 billion valuation in a round led by Insight Partners, and has remained profitable on the back of its consumer subscription business — making it one of the few Israeli AI franchises with positive free cash flow at scale.
