The hospitality position is anchored by Dan Hotels — the country's longest-established luxury hotel operator, with flagship properties including the King David Jerusalem, the Dan Tel Aviv, the Dan Carmel Haifa, and the Dan Caesarea. Dan Hotels is publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and remains majority-controlled by the family.
The defense position runs through Elbit Systems, where the Federmann family historically held a meaningful equity position acquired through the Elron-Elbit reorganization of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
