ISA (Israel Securities Authority)
The regulator of Israeli capital markets, public offerings, and securities disclosure — the Israeli SEC.
The ISA regulates public offerings, ongoing disclosure by listed companies, mutual funds, and market conduct on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. It is the enforcement body for the Securities Law 1968 and works alongside the Bank of Israel (which regulates banks) and the IIA (which governs innovation grants, not markets). For any company pursuing a Dual Primary Listing or operating as a Foreign Private Issuer, the ISA is the Israeli-side regulator whose disclosure rules must be satisfied — and whose enforcement actions, while less frequent than the SEC's, carry significant reputational weight in a small market. The ISA also oversees Maya, the electronic filing system where regulated disclosures are published.
