Buying in Tel Aviv Is Easy. Owning Here Is Not.

Dan Peretz is the founder of TLV Property Management, the high-end residential property firm operating from Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv since 2010. The firm manages luxury apartments and residential buildings for international owners — diaspora investors, foreign nationals, and dual-citizen Israelis who hold property in Tel Aviv but live elsewhere.
Peretz built the firm around a single insight: managing Israeli real estate from abroad is a structural problem, not a transactional one. Bills, vendors, municipal compliance, and tenant relations require someone on the ground who speaks both Hebrew and the language of foreign owners. TLV Property Management has become the default operator for that category in central Tel Aviv.
He writes for The Olam on Israeli real estate, diaspora property ownership, and the operating reality of holding Tel Aviv assets from outside Israel.
