MGX
MGX co-led a $30 billion AI-infrastructure partnership alongside Microsoft, BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners, and Nvidia in its first year of operation. It is the UAE's principal vehicle for AI-infrastructure deployment — and the largest-capacity sovereign technology investor with structural reasons to engage Israeli AI capability.

MGX is the AI-infrastructure-focused investment vehicle of the Abu Dhabi sovereign-capital architecture, founded in 2024 by Mubadala and G42 under the Abu Dhabi AI and Advanced Technology Council. The platform anchors UAE AI-infrastructure investment capacity at multi-tens-of-billions scale — a new category of state-affiliated technology vehicle combining sovereign capital with operating-company architecture and AI-specific industrial focus.
In its first year, MGX co-led a roughly $30 billion AI-infrastructure partnership alongside Microsoft, BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners, and Nvidia. The partnership is one of the largest single AI-infrastructure investment commitments globally and anchors MGX as the UAE's principal vehicle for AI-infrastructure deployment at the data-center, semiconductor, and adjacent infrastructure layers.
For Israel, MGX engagement is earlier-stage than Mubadala's broader exposure — but MGX is the highest-capacity sovereign technology investor in the region with structural reasons to deploy into Israeli capability. Israeli companies sit in adjacent layers of the AI compute stack: AI-native silicon, AI security, AI infrastructure software, and the broader cybersecurity layer that defends AI systems. The post-CEPA bilateral framework provides the regulatory architecture within which MGX-Israeli engagement could develop, though direct disclosed MGX-Israeli operating-company positions remain limited as of Q2 2026.
The significance is forward-looking rather than current. As AI-infrastructure investment globally consolidates into a small set of mega-scale platforms, MGX's positioning alongside the principal US AI-infrastructure capital sources opens a pathway for Israeli AI-stack companies to engage both sets of capital simultaneously.
