The American Israel Public Affairs Committee operates as one of the major US-Israel relations advocacy organizations. In 2021-2022, AIPAC established AIPAC PAC and United Democracy Project (Super PAC), formally entering direct campaign-contribution and independent-expenditure political activity. The structural shift represented one of the more significant institutional changes in AIPAC's modern history.

The annual AIPAC Policy Conference has historically operated as one of the larger annual US policy-engagement conferences across any cause area.
