NextSilicon's first commercial deployment was inside the Sandia National Laboratories' Vanguard II supercomputer in 2024, validating the architecture in production high-performance computing workloads. The company subsequently expanded into commercial AI training and inference and large-scale scientific computing.
NextSilicon raised at unicorn valuation in 2024 and has consistently been one of the most-funded Israeli AI silicon companies of the post-ChatGPT cycle. It sits alongside Hailo (edge inference) and Run:ai (orchestration) in the Israeli AI infrastructure layer that emerged after the Annapurna, Habana, and Mellanox exits.
