The Mirilashvili Family is a Georgian-Israeli business family whose senior member is Mikhail (Michael) Mirilashvili, born in Kulashi, Georgia, and resident in Israel since the 1990s. The family's contemporary commercial center of gravity is Watergen, an Israeli company that produces atmospheric water-generation systems that extract drinking water from air humidity.
Watergen operates in roughly 85 countries and has supplied units for disaster relief, military forward operating bases, remote community water supply, and humanitarian deployments. The next-generation principal Yitzchak Mirilashvili leads Watergen.
Mikhail Mirilashvili also serves as president of the World Congress of Russian Jewry and was vice-president of the World Jewish Congress, making the family architecture one of the cleaner examples of FSU-origin Israeli capital with combined industrial and diaspora-institutional positions.
