Roboteam
Israeli developer and manufacturer of combat tactical ground robotic systems, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, supplying robots such as the Roni and MTGR to the IDF and Israel Police.
<p>Roboteam Defense is a private Israeli company, now a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, that develops and manufactures combat tactical ground robotic systems. Founded by veterans of Israeli military special-forces units, it works closely with the Ministry of Defense's Directorate of Defense Research & Development.</p><p>Its Roni robot was the IDF's first battlefield robot, developed with the military's Land Technology Division and first operationally tested in 2017. The MTGR (Micro Tactical Ground Robot) is a lightweight, portable system used in complex urban and underground environments, equipped with cameras that transmit 360-degree video to command-and-control systems. Roboteam and Elbit Systems jointly developed the Rook, an unmanned ground vehicle.</p>
